All students training with MTA Institute (MTAI) are allocated an MTAI trainer for the duration of their apprenticeship/traineeship. Your MTAI trainer will contact you in the initial days of your registration to arrange a suitable time to complete your enrolment.
What to prepare
- A Unique Student Identifier number (USI)
All students completing nationally recognised training are required to have a USI for enrolment.
Create your USI at: https://www.usi.gov.au/students
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Collate any prior qualifications or informal evidence you have which can be used towards RPL. Learn more about RPL HERE
- Student Co-Contribution Fees for Apprentices and Trainees
Over the duration of your apprenticeship you will have fees that can amount to approximately $1,500, depending on the qualification you are undertaking and the units on your training plan. However, you might be eligible for fee-free training or maybe a discount.
