WorldSkills Australia Competition now open for Vehicle Painting students

If you are a Vehicle Painting apprentice with an eye for detail and a flair for design then now is your chance to make your mark and stand out from the crowd through the WorldSkills Australia Regional Competition in Vehicle Painting.

Taking place in April on the Gold Coast, the Regional Competition gives you the chance to showcase your skills and be challenged by competing against the best in the region. Should you win, you may have the opportunity to move forward to challenge Australia’s best vehicle painters at the 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Competition, in Melbourne, in October.

Medalists from the National Competition will gain access to a number of scholarship opportunities such as the BBM Skilled Futures Program and the Australian Overseas Foundation Scholarship. Outstanding national-level medalists may be eligible to apply to be on the Skills Squad, where they may get the opportunity to represent Australia as a 2017 Skillaroo at the 44th WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The WorldSkills Australia competitions offer the opportunity of a lifetime and now is the time to take the first step to realising your full potential.
