MTA Institute A Finalist for QLD Training Awards
The Queensland Training Awards recognises individuals and organisations that strive for and have achieved success, best practice and innovation in vocational education and training (VET).
Minister for Training and Skills Development Shannon Fentiman said, “The Queensland Training Awards shine a spotlight on some fantastic people, committed employers and training providers, and innovative training initiatives and collaborations that demonstrate the great results VET is achieving.”
Paul Kulpa, General Manager of the MTA Institute said, “The Institute is delighted to be announced as a finalist for the Small Training Provider of the Year award.
“Our team consists of 30 trainers dispersed throughout Queensland and another 11 staff based at our head office, which is also home to a $10 million state-of-the-art training workshop in Eight Mile Plains.
“The team is dedicated to providing the highest level of training and it is integral to our business that our training delivery is relevant to real-world and directly connects to employment opportunities.
“For the MTA Institute’s contribution to VET to be recognised by the Queensland Training Awards is incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to attending the Gala Dinner.”
All winners will be announced at the Queensland Training Awards State Gala Dinner on Saturday 14 September 2019 at the Great Hall, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane.
MTA Institute is up against Connect n Grow and the Institute of Culinary Excellence and wishes them both the best of luck.
