Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) are proud to work with the Queensland Government in the delivery of the Automotive Industry Pre-Apprenticeship – Collision Repair Assistance to Support Hiring Apprentices (CRASH) Program.
Completely funded and supported by the Queensland Government, the CRASH Program aims to see potential employees of the automotive industry receive basic skills and knowledge to assist in applying for a job in automotive sector. It is specifically designed for school leavers, job seekers or those looking for a change in career direction and comes at no cost to the student.
The training, delivered at MTA Institute’s 10-million-dollar state-of-the-art facility, commences on 27 March 2017 and takes place over 10 weeks.
Training includes a Certificate II in Automotive Body Repair Technology, St John First Aid training, Defensive Driving Course, a work experience placement with potential employers for two weeks and education in relation to goal setting, motivation, communication, job searches and interviews.

“Completing the CRASH Program through the MTA Institute will give participants hands-on guided experience and they’ll come away with real skills and knowledge that will be tremendously beneficial in securing a future apprenticeship and work.”
